Pre-DRAFT Regional Spatial & Economic Strategy
|
The Eastern and Midland Regional Assembly is starting to update its long‑term plan for how the region should grow and develop. They want to hear from local people, community groups, and anyone with an interest in the future of the area. What you say will help them create a new draft plan.
This plan—called the Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy (RSES)—sets out how the region should develop over the coming years. It influences things like where housing goes, where jobs are located, how people travel, how towns and rural areas grow, and how the environment is protected. It also helps put national government policies into action at a regional level.
