Community Water Development Fund
The Community Water Development Fund supports communities in progressing water related projects and initiatives, delivering benefits locally whilst also helping to meet the objectives of the River Basin Management Plan for Ireland and the wider EU Water Framework Directive. This Fund is open to all community and voluntary groups to assist in the protection and management of water quality, both locally and in the wider catchment.
Deadline: 9th February 2021.
Climate Innovation Fund
(Celbridge Leixlip MD)
The fund of €25,000 is available for Climate Change Innovation projects that benefit the Celbridge and Leixlip Municipal District. This is a great opportunity for communities, businesses, professionals and the general public in the Leixlip/Celbridge area to come together on Climate Action.

IFH Seed Grant Scheme
The Irish Hospise Foundation announce grant scheme to support creativity during Covid 19. This may take the form of starting new local art projects, or to support existing projects gain momentum – this may involve artists, crafts people or coders or may be a group or individual who has a good idea.
Deadline: Friday 29 January 2021, 5pm.
Better Energy Communities
Better Energy Communities is our national retrofit initiative with grant support of up to €28 million for 2021. SEAI support new approaches to achieving energy efficiency in Irish communities. Upgrades can take place across building types to reduce energy use and costs throughout the community. We aim to deliver energy savings to homeowners, communities, and private sector organisations. All projects should be community oriented with a cross-sectoral approach, and you must show that you can sustainably finance the proposed project.
Heritage in the Community
Waterways Ireland Heritage in the Community Grant Scheme 2021
A fund of €20,000 has been allocated to assist community based heritage projects which compliment or fulfil the delivery of the Waterways Ireland Heritage Plan along the Barrow Navigation, Erne System, Grand Canal, Lower Bann, Royal Canal, Shannon Navigation, Shannon-Erne Waterway and the Ulster Canal.

EPA Event Support Grant
The EPA Research Programme will consider applications for the financial support of small workshops, seminars, and other events which showcase current Irish research by the organisers and EPA funded-groups. The amount of funding per event will not exceed €3,000. Funding is not provided for large-scale events, conferences, symposiums, festivals etc.
