Online Consultation for Kildare PPN Members – Draft Kildare County Development Plan

Kildare PPN are holding an online consultation session with our member groups to give our network an opportunity to share their feedback, opinions and ideas on the recently published Draft Kildare County Development Plan 2023-2029. This feedback will then help form Kildare PPN’s submission to the council.

The County Development Plan is a hugely important document for Kildare as it details the overall strategy of the council for the planning and sustainable development of Kildare over a 6-year period.
It sets out how Kildare County Council aims to use particular areas, for example, residential, industrial or agricultural areas. It also sets out development objectives for the area, such as plans to improve roads and local amenities.

Volume 2: (Volume 2 deals specifically with small towns, environs, villages and settlements and shall have a key economic and social function within the settlement hierarchy of the Plan. )
