Climate Innovation Fund 2025
|
The aim of this fund is to foster innovative climate solutions in the county of Kildare. Generally speaking, KCC are interested in supporting projects that:
– Address a research or practical gap in a process.
– Help make an evidence-based climate solution relevant to your community.
– Involves reimagining or reviving an old technique or method that is beneficial to reducing the impacts of climate change.
– Involves providing a service or solution based on any open-source data set.

Water Heritage Day Grants Scheme
|
Community groups are invited to host events to celebrate Water Heritage Day 2025. Whether it’s a river walk, lakeside talk, or a creative local history project, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
A total of €30,000 is available through the scheme. Water Heritage Day takes place on Sunday August 24th as part of Heritage Week and in partnership with The Heritage Council.

LGBTIQ+ Community Services Funding Call
|
€1.400,000 is being made available to applicant groups, operating at national, regional and local level, to support community services and promote visibility and inclusion of LGBTIQ+ people
Funding aims to promote inclusion, protect rights and to improve quality of life and wellbeing for LGBTIQ+ people in Ireland.
Grant scheme is open to applications from existing LGBTIQ+ non-government organisations and community organisations working with LGBTIQ+ people.

Running a community group means dealing with bank or credit union accounts, and there are processes you need to follow. This free 2-hour online session will explain what your group needs to know about setting up and managing accounts, legal responsibilities, Anti-Money Laundering legislation, and how to identify your group’s beneficial owners. Ideal for trustees, committee members, staff, and volunteers in the nonprofit sector.

Plastic Free July is a global movement where people are encouraged to stop using single use plastics and explore other plastic free solutions so we can have cleaner streets, oceans, and beautiful communities.
The Plastic Free July challenge can be done at home and in the workplace and we would encourage all PPN members to get on board and try it themselves.
