KC4CA #PeatFree Campaign
Kildare Community 4 Climate Action has started a #peatfree campaign. They are asking everyone to consider buying peat free alternatives when getting compost for the garden. Our peatlands are precious and whilst we welcome the ending of industrial turf cutting, use of peat in the garden and as fuel should really come to an end. If you would like to take part in this campaign, please spread the word and send in a picture of yourself with a sign saying ‘I’m going #peatfree’ – you can be as creative as you like!
