Join our Advisory Groups
As part of our commitment to strengthening community participation, we have restructured our former linkage groups into three new Advisory Groups:
- Community & Voluntary
- Environmental
- Social Inclusion
What are advisory groups?
Advisory Groups are a way for PPN members to help guide and support PPN Representatives, who speak on behalf of your community in local government meetings.
Advisory Groups provide a platform for you to support our PPN Representatives and help shape their mandate. By joining, you can share insights, raise important issues, and contribute to shaping policies that impact our communities.
Priorities Identified at Our Plenary Meeting
At our Plenary meeting in March, we held our first workshop to form the Advisory Groups. During this session, our member groups identified three key priorities in each pillar for our representatives to bring forward:
Community
- Community Funding
- Open Spaces
- Community Transport
Environmental
- Land Use – Related to solar power (e.g., Quarry to waste)
- Habitat Protection & Identification
- Public Land Use & Designation
Social Inclusion:
- Community Transport
- Environmental Access & Integration
- Open Spaces
Next Advisory Group Meeting
Our next Advisory Group meeting will take place on Wednesday the 3rd of September 2025 at 7:00pm, in the Osprey Business Centre, Naas.
